Environmental Education and Information Division

The Environmental Education and Information Division (EEID) is primarily mandated to catalyze environmental education in the country, and disseminate information on environmental and pollution matters to the DENR/EMB regional offices and the general public. The EEID is composed of three sections namely: the Environmental Education Section; the Environmental Information Section; and, the Institutional Coordination and Documentation.

EVENTS

June will be a busy month of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) as it leads the celebration of the Philippine Environment Month. "We celebrate Environment Month this year with renewed and strengthened conviction to care for the land we live on, the air we breathe, and the water which gives us life.More than any time in this plant's history, it is now that we must put our acts together to combat increasing threats to our ecosystems," said DENR Secretary Ramon J.P. Paje.

Pioneering local government units and ‘thought leaders’ from across the country will be recognized by the Office of the President in a special recognition at the Malaca┼łan Palace on November 27, 2014.
Close to 200 barangay officials, community leaders and representatives from national and local governments, academe, civil society and the private sector partners will gather for the fourth annual Partners’ Forum of the Adopt-an-Estero/Water body Program in Quezon City on September 24 and 25, 2014. This will be held at the Microtel, UP-Ayala Land Technohub, Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City.
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) will be hosting a youth forum aimed at educating young people and urging them to become more actively involved in efforts to address the causes and impacts of climate change.

Government offices and government-owned and controlled corporations go green for the Recognition Awards for Eco-friendly Government Offices.
